今回は白金高輪「島津」さんを訪問。
予約はOMAKASEで定期開放される枠をなんとか取得。
今後は予約が取り辛くなりそうな予感ですのでこのタイミングで来店できて良かったです…
場所は駅から数分のテナントがいくつか入った低層階のビルの一階。入り口がなんの変哲も無い鉄扉の上、その回りには店名を記したものが見られない為、普通にスルーしてしまいますがなんとか捕捉。時間になりますと店内に招き入れられます。
夜は二部制で我々は20:30の回。L字のカウンター席の大将の真正面に座らせていただきました。お客さんは半分くらいが常連さんなのかノリノリの島津大将との話も弾んでいます。
タレントでもやられていたのかと思うくらいの雰囲気の着物姿の女将さんの好アシストも交えた島津大将とのやり取りを加えた握りの技術をたっぷり堪能することが出来ました。
握りに加えてお酒も美味しかったなと思えたのは希少な体験…両立しないことはちょこちょこあるので…

全体としてはツマミ、握りもメリハリのある味わいでワンパターンさが無くて飽きが来ません。
次は何が来るのか?という楽しみとお酒の美味しさも相まって(寿司が美味しいから酒も美味いのか相乗効果なのか)後半にさしかかっても伸びる延びる。
時間の経過が早くてあっという間の2時間弱。
再訪の価値のあるお店です。
