ChefYasuda Takamitsu - An up-and-coming sushi chef with outstanding taste
Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1980, he joined Sushi Ko in Jiyugaoka at the tender age of 16, where he spent 15 years perfecting his skills. He then went independent in 2011, opening Sushi Hisamitsu in Nakameguro. Since opening, he has quickly distinguished himself for the quality of his ingredients, carefully selected from across the country, and his exceptional sense of style. He is a sushi chef of the new era who is bringing a breath of fresh air to the sushi industry while pursuing his ideal sushi.

Sushi Hisamitsu is tucked away in an alley about a 10-minute walk along the Meguro River. The small shop, with about 10 counter seats, has a Louis Vuitton ware case on the counter and Hermes wallpaper, creating an artistic space that is unusual for a sushi restaurant. The restaurant exudes the air of a high-end restaurant, but what further enhances its appeal is the customer service of owner Yasuda Hisamitsu.
