ChefShinichiro Ohga - A young sushi chef who continues to make great strides
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1987, he is the fourth generation owner of the long-established "Yasuke" restaurant in Sakai, which has been in business for 80 years. He had no intention of taking over the restaurant at first, but after working part-time at a restaurant during high school, he decided to pursue a career in sushi. After graduating from high school, he honed his skills in various places, including Tokyo, for about 10 years, and then spent three years training at his father's restaurant. In June 2018, he opened his own restaurant, "Sushi Oga," across from "Yasuke." He continues to evolve in this new world, including changing the taste of the traditional rice.
